INSTRUCTIONS
It is important to follow the instructions included with the green tea you purchase. If not prepared correctly, the tea flavor can be ruined. Some general instructions include:

- Bring water to a boil
- Allow the water to cool for up to three minutes
- Pour water over tea bag; allow to steep for three minutes and remove the bag
- Let tea sit for another three minutes before drinking

There are several different recommendations on how much green tea should be consumed daily to receive the full benefits. Research has shown benefits in those drinking anywhere from three to five cups of green tea daily. If you are looking for the maximum benefit of drinking green tea, three to five cups per day is probably the target to shoot for.
